Mutirão Luzes is a social assistance organization established in 2002 by dedicated volunteers motivated by altruism and solidarity.

The initiative operates without political or institutional affiliations, sustained exclusively by the financial and material contributions of donors and the volunteers themselves, all of whom are committed to promoting significant life transformation.

Currently, the organization serves 50 vulnerable families in the Brasília region, benefiting an estimated 200 individuals. All participating families satisfy the established selection criteria and remain engaged with the project for a period of two years, during which they must attend all twelve scheduled annual meetings.

On a monthly basis, during scheduled Saturdays, the families receive comprehensive care, including medical services, preventive dental care, psychological support, educational resources, financial counseling, integrative therapeutic practices, play therapy for children, a complete daily meal, and a substantial basic food basket, the contents of which provide sufficient sustenance for a family of 4 to 5 members for a month, with an approximate cost of 20 US dollars (100 reais).
